I bought my first Jensen Interceptor in 1976 (as you may have seen on another page here), and met my first other Jensen on my first long trip (as you can read about on the same page). The car I saw was the grey Interceptor II on these pictures and was owned by Stig Lundbäck, a heart surgeon, whom I contacted after the vacation trip. He had a couple of registration numbers of other Jensens he had spotted and that way we started winding up the participants to a meeting. So for this very first meeting we gathered Kenneth Andrén (Interceptor II ) and his brother Peter (Interceptor II), Clas Ottosson (FF I), Jan Johansson (FF I), Eric Jensen (Interceptor I), Sven Hernström (FF I), Bo Castenfors (Interceptor I), Stig (Interceptor II) and myself (Interceptor II).
We met at the restaurant Jaktslottet in Alby south of Stockholm one day in the autumn of 1976. We had a lot to chat about over a nice dinner and decided on a date after the new year to meet in Bo Castenfors architect office for the formal foundation of the club. It was a bit too dark when we finally got around to take a look at the cars, as you can see from the pictures here.
The blue FF I is number 119/135, the silver grey Int mk II is 125/5004, the metallic brown mk I is 115/3247, the purple mk I is 115/3367 and my blue mk II is 123/3780.
